The practice has recently welcomed a new member of staff to our clinical team, who will be helping out the Practice Nurses by running the blood test clinic in the morning. Hannah Brown is a recently trained phlebotomist, and will be taking bloods for a couple of hours each weekday morning.

Please note that the appointments with Hannah are for taking blood only. If you require anything else, or if you need to discuss a medical matter, you will need to make an appointment with a GP or one of the Practice Nurses.

Did you know?

It takes your liver approximately one hour to remove one unit alcohol from your bloodstream. A unit of alcohol is equivalent to half a pint of normal strength beer or lager (4% abv), a small single pub measure of spirits (25ml), or half a 175ml glass of wine (12.5% abv).
